Dear NorCal/Nevada Chapter Members,
We are please to announce the 2012 Winter Conference will be held at the Napa Valley Marriott from January 29 – 30, 2012. During the conference we will need to approve changes made to the NorCal/Nevada Chapter By-Laws. The changes include moving the Family Self-Sufficiency Committee under the Housing Committee and we have also elected to change the number of members on the executive board. There has been an increase to Members-At-Large. This will allow for more agencies to have a voice at the chapter level. Please note that the numbers have changed for members at large from five (5) to eight (8). Please review the by-laws (attached). The document was printed with the track changes so you can clearly identify the changes. They have been approved by National and Regional NAHRO. It is now our responsibility to vote on the changes.

NOMINATIONS/ELECTIONS
The nominations for the Executive Board will run as a slate; however, nominations from the floor will also take place during the election process. Currently, there are 2 vacant executive positions and 3 vacant members-at-large positions.
Elections for the Northern California Nevada Chapter Executive Board Members and Members-at-Large Vacancies for the term January 30, 2012 – October 30, 2013 will take place on Sunday January 29, 2012.
